there in 1872 and for three successive fall expeditions served as Roosevelt's
guide and companion After 1878 Mr. Roosevelt never returned to Island Falls,

"Dear Donna & Kent- My time here has informed me that my path is pretty damn shiny and what you have created here in Island Falls is "beautiful and bountiful" and a gift I will always cherish (and come back too). All the blissful things you have cultivated manifest in the sounds, the smells, the cats and the graceful things around the house. Thank you so much for sharing all these blessings with me." "Every year more blissed out. How can that be? Sewall House just gets better and better. I love Kent's cooking, the beautiful bedrooms and common areas. Inga's flowers and her quiet busyness are only surpassed by the kind, droll personality she brings to your team. Donna, you have the knack for reaching all comers right where they are, making them feel they have locked themselves onto a little piece of what makes your demonstrations so beautiful and satisfying. I just think you are a superlative teacher." Nancy, California
"What a wonderful, restorative week! I feel very lucky that as I searched for my solo holiday I discovered your Sewall House and your warmth and hospitality. The week of great yoga, fabulous healthy food and beautiful surroundings has been the perfect antidote to the upheaval and turbulence I've had over the past six months. I leave you well rested and ready to take on life (and work) again. It's been the most you could ask from a great holiday. Thank you so much for your care this week and all you do year round to make Sewall House such a special place. I very much hope to return. ." Helen, NY City

"Dearest Donna, Kent, Inga & Kitties - Thank you for a most relaxing, peaceful 3 days - it was so inspiring and hope it leads us down the yoga path more frequently than we have done.
